In Dallas

No new comic page (yet).  With drill this weekend and a back-to-back trip to Dallas, I didn't have time to scan in the art to get it posted.  It's going to be a busy week, but I'm rested now, so I can do a bit of catchup as I go along.  I'll post a bit more soon.

By drill, do you mean the reserves?

Yes, I'm in the Navy Reserves.  Drill one weekend a month and two weeks a year.  That is, if I'm not mobilized.

Do you know the chances of being mobilized.  I know some units and specialties are more likely than others to be mobilized.

It's not always about specialty, though that's a factor.  Oftentimes it's simply a matter of capacity management.  x rank needed to fill x ranked billet.  Certainly submariners aren't going to be placed in infantry billets, but logistics and such are always something that can be managed/delegated.
