I hate the word webinar. Yes, it's a collision of web and seminar (which comes from Latin, meaning 'seed-bed'; so is it now a 'web-bed' or 'seed-web'?). Seminars are supposed to be where ideas are expressed, examined, deconstructed and new ideas formed or restated. All the webinars I have been too are NOT this. They are lectures and sales platforms. Not that it is a bad thing, but the two are not the cousins (seminar & webinar). Maybe it should be webture, lectweb, websentation, or webpitch.
Plus, it sounds like a villain name from an 80's cartoon and you know how bad those were (I've made up worse names as a kid, too).
